(9th Annual Youth Summit)…It is presented by the Imperial County Probation and Juvenile Justice Commission.
It will be held Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm at Corfman School, 701 West McCabe Road. Youth ranging in age from 12 to 18 are expected to attend. Gina Castaneda will provide the keynote message for the event. Castaneda was raised on the streets of Watsonville, California, and despite the adversities of growing up in a violent neighborhood and home, she avoided gang involvement and now shares her story with at risk youth.
