(The President is coming to the Southern Border)…The White House Press Secretary made the announcement Monday.
Sarah Sanders did not say, however, were on the Southern border the President would be visiting. She said President Trump would make the trip on Thursday to meet with those on the frontlines of the national security and humanitarian crisis. She said more details would be released later. The government is currently in a partial shutdown as a result of the President’s dispute with Democrats on funding for a Border Wall. Trump is demanding $5.7 billion for a steel barrier at the Border. Democrats are refusing to fund the wall. The partial shutdown is affecting Homeland Security, the IRS, Department of Interior and other governmental agencies. The shutdown is now in its third week.
