(Final meeting as Supervisor in District One)…John Renison served in that position for 8 years.
In November he lost his bid for re-election. Tuesday Renison was recognized for his efforts the past 8 years. Plaques and resolutions were presented to him from the County, and from the offices of Congressman Juan Vargas, State Senator Ben Hueso and Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia. Renison said he appreciated the honors, and he said he would not be inactive for very long. Renison said he planned to take a job in the private sector in January. He did not say what that job would be, but he said the position would allow him to exercise talents he had not used in years.
