(Man tries to steal a Farm Labor Bus)….He had a problem, however.

He apparently had no idea on how to operate the vehicle. Employees of El Don Farm Labor in Calexico called police to report a man had entered one of their buses and locked himself inside. Police arrived and found the man still in the bus. Police learned the man was armed with an ice pick and several knives. They also found he had tried to drive off with the bus, but he could not disengage the breaks. Calexico officers tried to talk the man out of the bus, but when that failed, they forcibly entered the bus and arrested the man without incident. He was identified as Filberto Galvan. The suspect was taken to Imperial County Jail and booked on charges of attempted theft of a vehicle, resisting arrest and other charges.
