(26 year old woman injured)…She had climbed the Border Fence Saturday.
It happened east of the San Ysidro Port of Entry. When the Guatemalan native got to the top of the fence, she fell onto the US side of the border. The woman landed in construction debris. Pieces of rebar pierced her buttocks and side. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The mother of two small children told Border Patrol agents that she was not part of the Central American Caravan seeking asylum in the United States.
