(House Fire Safety)…House fires are extremely dangerous.
Residents need to be alerted as soon as possible. The best way to do that is with a smoke alarm, one or more, in every home. Most fatal fires occur at night and residents cannot always count on the smell of smoke to wake up in time. The American Red Cross, Burn Institute and the Area Agency on Aging have joined together to provide and install smoke alarms in homes that request one. To have a Red Cross volunteer install a smoke alarm in your home or if you need more information call 760-392-5974.
