(Jury deliberations could begin Tuesday)….Closing arguments are expected Tuesday morning.

The case is the Mental Competency question for Ioan Laurint. Testimony was heard for almost two weeks. It wrapped up Thursday. Closing arguments were set for Tuesday. Once they are heard, the case could be turned over to the jury for deliberation. If the jury finds Laurint mentally competent, his trial will continue. He is charged in the murder of El Centro Attorney Anne Marie Zimmerman. If the jury finds Laurint is not mentally competent to stand trial, the judge could order psychological treatment.
