(Free Seminar for Veterans)….It is set for September 8th.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 569 of San Diego and Imperial Counties will host a team from the US Veteran Administration to review benefits available for area veterans. The seminar is free to all vets and will review free benefits veterans have earned, including health benefits, compensation, education, home loans and small business assistance. The local will also connect interested veterans to careers in the electrical industry. Former State Assembly member and veterans advocate Nathan Fletcher will speak at the event. It will be held at the IBEW 569 Hall, 4545 Viewridge Avenue, suite B in San Diego. Lunch will be provided at no cost.
