The California Department of Food and Agriculture will visit the Imperial Valley.

On Wednesday , Secretary Karen Ross will discuss Imperial County agriculture and share information on available state resources and grant programs available to Valley growers and ranchers. The meeting will take place at the Imperial County Farm Bureau building  in El Centro from 7:30 a.m., to 9:00 a.m. Following the meeting , Secretary Ross will visit local State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program ( SWEEP ) grant recipients to see their facilities and see the affect of the state money in use. in the Imperial Valley.
