(Over $800 in Narcotics Seized)…It happened last week in two separate incidents.

In the first incident, Customs and Border Protection Officers arrested a Mexican national in connection to a failed smuggling attempt amounting to the seizure of more than 54 pounds of cocaine at the San Luis Port of Entry. The narcotics were valued at $613,000. In the second incident, CBP officers arrested a U.S. Citizen in connection to a failed smuggling attempt of Methamphetamine, resulting in the seizure of 97 pounds at the San Luis Port. The Meth was valued at $290,000. Arrested was a 29-year-old San Luis, Arizona woman.
