El Centro Police have arrested 4 suspects in an apparently gang-related shooting that occurred Monday evening.

Three adults and one juvenile were taken into custody following an intensive investigation by ECPD officers and other law enforcement partners. The shooting was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on May 21st in the 300 block of South 6th Street in El Centro. A 30-year old man was treated for a gun-shot wound and then  released at El Centro Regional Medical Center. During the ensuing investigation , officers were able to identify several persons of interest , a suspect vehicle as well as associated residences in Heber , California and Somerton , Arizona. 

On Wednesday afternoon a pair of vehicle associated with a Heber address were stopped in El Centro. One of the traffic stops yielded several suspects believed to have been involved in the shooting. They were arrested. The second traffic stop yielded another possible suspect as well as a 9mm and a .22 caliber handguns. Later Wednesday , two search warrants were served , one at the Heber residence , the other at a Somerton , Arizona residence. 

In custody are three adults . 21-year old Adriel Urias of Somerton , 22-year old Braulio Ramirez of El Centro and Ruben Sevilla , 18 , of Heber. They were booked into Imperial County Jail. A 15-year old El Centro resident was booked into Imperial County Juvenile Hall. All are said to be associated with the same criminal street gang. Charges against the four include Attempted Murder , Conspiracy , and appropriate gang enhancements. 

According to the El; Centro Police Department , the Imperial County Gang Task Force , Imperial County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations assisted in investigation and apprehension of the suspects.
