A U.S. Customs and Border Protection canine team located a load of methamphetamine hidden in a rail car.
According to CBP , the canine team was conducting inspections in the Calexico rail yard at about 7:45 a.m. Friday when the dog alerted to an apparently empty hopper car. During an intensive inspection officers found a hidden compartment which contained 49 wrapped packages of methamphetamine that weighed about 100 pounds. The meth is valued at approximately $330,000.
