Approximately 160 Imperial County voters have received more than one ballot for the November General Election.

Registrar of Voters Linsey Dale said that, due to a mailing error, the affected voters were sent an additional ballot even though they had already received one. Dale said the error occurred when the Registrar of Voters office was updating procedures under California law that made elected officials and candidates for public office eligible for confidential voter status. The new law requires changes in how their ballots are processed and mailed. Receiving two ballots does not Ean you can vote twice.
