(A new fishing tournament has been scheduled)...Reel for the Cure.

It is hosted by the Imperial County Sheriff's Office in collaboration with the Imperial County Sheriff's Office Peer Support. It is a fundraiser, and it will be held October 17 at Sunbeam Lake. The proceeds from the Tournament will support cancer awareness. The tournament will be open to all anglers. Those 16 and up are required to have a valid California Fishing License, There will be an official weigh in station. On-site registration is required to participate in the event. Check in is at 7 am, Lines in at 8 am and lines out at 12 noon. Entry fee is $10 for kids and $15 for adults.
