The Imperial Irrigation District is bringing back their Tree for All program.

IID residential customers can enter a lottery for a chance to receive one free shade tree professionally planted at their home. The lottery sign up period runs from Monday, August 31 and continues through Friday, September 11. The IID Residential Shade Tree program helps customers add natural shade around their homes and supports energy efficiency and community beautification. Trees are selected for the ability to thrive in the desert climate and is professionally planted by a licensed contractor. Last year approximately 1,300 trees were planted.
