The U. S. Border Patrol will hold a Citizens Academy.

It's a four week training and orientation program that will offer community members an opportunity to learn more about the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) mission . The course will cover the three branches of CBP, Border Patrol and Air and Marine Operations. The program will be conducted once a week on Saturdays beginning October 3, 20206, at 211 W. Ate Road in Imperial. Registration deadline is September 4, 2026. Applicants must be 18 years or older and are subject to a background check.
