(Academic Year begins Monday for SDSU IV)...This Monday, SDSU Imperial Valley will welcome more than 1,000 students, which will composed of 130 newly admitted first-year students, a new SDSU Imperial Valley Record.

Approximately 320 transfer students will also begin their undergraduate studies and 70 new graduate students are enrolled for the 2026-27 academic year. Fall 2026 alos marks the first time SDSU IV will welcome students enrolled in its new chemistry and electrical engineering undergraduate programs. Official enrollment numbers are confirmed by the 2026 fall Census, which will be completed in October
