There is always someone trying to get money from you.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office says be aware of a scam targeting families of Individuals in custody. Scammers are impersonating law enforcement officials or claim to represent bail bond agencies and say they can accept payment for an inmate's release. YCSO reminds people that bondsmen are not permitted to solicit services by telephone and will not call requesting payment to secure an inmate's release. Credit cards, electronic payments and payments over the phone are not accepted. Law enforcement will never call to request money, bail payments, gift cards, wire transfers, Zelle payments or any other form of electronic payment over the phone. If you receive a call demanding immediate payment, hang up. it's a scam.
