(City of El Centro receives an award)....It is the Transportation Planning Award of Merit.

The award was presented by the San Diego Section of the American Planning Association. It was for El Centro's Imperil Avenue Complete Streets Plan. The award recognizes El Centro's commitment to creating safer, more accesible and connected transportation networks for residents and visitors. It was presented earlier this month at the 2026 SDAPA Awards in San Diego.
