(250th anniversary of the United States)....It is a week away.

The celebrations start on July 3rd, next Friday. The Holtville Independence Day celebration will be next Friday. It will be held at Holt Park, starting at 6 pm. It will end with a Fireworks show. Also, next Friday, the City of Westmorland will celebrate. It will start at 5 pm and include a Time Capsule sealing. On the 4th of July, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25 event starts at 11 am. The El Centro Aquatics Center 4th of July Block Party starts at 6 pm. The City of Calexico pool party and Dive-in Movie event starts at 6 pm. The Annual Calipatria Fireworks Spectacular begin at 4 pm, with the Fireworks display at 9:15 pm. And, the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts the Celebrate America Drone Show at the Fairgrounds, beginning at 6 pm. Cost is $10.00 per car.
