(With Summer comes extreme heat)...The year is no different.

There have already been two excessive heat warnings and summer is not even a week-old. Temperatures could be a little hotter this summer because of atmospheric conditions. Those who work outdoors or have to be outside for any measurable amount of time are warned to be very cautious. Outdoor workers should have plenty of water, take breaks often in a shady area. For hose out and about, stay hydrated and find a rest area in the shade when you become tired. Cool Stations and Hydration stations are set-up around the county. Many are open now; all will be open by July 1st. Go to the Public Health Department for a list of Cool Stations and Hydration Stations. Know where they are before you go out.
