The Kiwanis Club of El Centro is celebrating a century of service to the Imperial Valley.

The Kiwanis Club of El Centro was chartered in late 1924, just a few years after the formation of Kiwanis. Over the 100-year history of the club millions of dollars has been invested in the community as well as untold hours of volunteer work. From school playgrounds to the Children's Waiting Room at El Centro Regional Medical Center. The Rose School project at the Pioneers Museum to band uniforms. Kiwanis have a history of touching the community. A celebration will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the PAL Center in El Centro. Federal, State and local dignitaries will be there as well as many past and current members of the club.
