Soroptimist International of El Centro will host the 2026 Lantern of Hope Celebration.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, there will be an evening to celebrate leadership, education, literacy, and community partnerships as Soroptimist International of El Centro recognized the incoming 2026 - 2028 Board of Directors, educational award recipients, and the continued growth of the STEAM Wars & Beyond: Dream it, Be it., Live Your Dream: She Leads, Read to Dream Literacy project and The Caroline Treadway Jaime " Dream it, Be it " Educational Award. 

Keynote speaker will be Jaymee Foo Chan, Vice President of Honor Health Sciences and Vice President of Soroptimist International of El Centro. 

The event will be held at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse in El Centro.
