An old scam has resurfaced.

The Imperial Irrigation District says don't be misled by a call demanding immediate payment of your IID bill. The scam pops up from time-to-time with the caller claiming to be from the IID and demanding immediate payment of your electric bill. they want that payment with a pre-paid credit or debit card or even gift cards. it's a SCAM. The Imperial Irrigation District will never ask you to pay that way. Remember, if it doesn't sound right, chances are it's wrong.
