(Earth Day is Wednesday)....The Imperial Irrigation District will be celebrating on Saturday.

The entire community is invited to the free, family friendly event. They plan an abundance of family friendly activities and learning opportunities focused on supporting our planet and living greener will be available from 9 am to 1 pm. It will all be on the lawn at IID Headquarters, 333 East Barioni Boulevard in Imperial. The theme for Earth Day 2026 is Our Power, Our Planet, Our Community. The celebration will include hands-on planting activities, waste management info, kids zone with splash pools, free give-a-ways, music, food vendors, pet adoption opportunities, prize drawings every 15 minutes and a special appearance by IID's Dippy Duck.
