The Imperial County Sheriff's Office has received a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

The grant, nearly $25,700, will be used to purchase 15 Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 Fully Automated Extended Defibrillators and accessories. The new equipment will be deployed in vehicles and at ICSO substations in the Valley. ICSO Lieutenant Joseph Conkey said, " We are extremely grateful to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and Firehouse Subs in Yuma, Arizona, for this vita support, Having reliable, up-to-date equipment enhances our ablity to protect lives and better serve our community".
