The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley has issued a warning.

The emergency security warning says that a sophisticated phishing attack has compromised their email system. According to the Chamber, unauthorized access to the Chambers contact list resulted in fraudulent emails being sent to local individuals and businesses early Thursday morning. If you have received a message from the chamber sent between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. April 2, 2026, do not open any attachments. The chamber is working with IT security partners to secure the network.
