The historic Barbara Worth Country Club and Golf Course has a new owner.

Escrow recently closed with Imperial Valley native Ray Roben of Roben LLC is the new owner. Roben said, " We purchased the property because we believe in it's potential. Our immediate focus is on stabilization, cleaning up the years of accumulated neglect, addressing deferred maintenance, and restoring the facilities so they can once again be used to serve the community". 

The golf course is currently undergoing a temporary public closure to allow for critical agronomic repairs, restoration of irrigation systems, and extensive tree maintenance before reopening. The Country Club Sewer Maintenance District is moving forward with a positive financial position with the payment of outstanding utility bills recovered during the close of escrow. Fairway Drive is also scheduled fr complete repaving in the coming months. 

The Barbara Worth Country Club and Golf Curse will celebrate it's 100th Anniversary in 2027.
