The United States Postal Service has finally made a decision on a new location for the Niland Post Office.

The relocation is necessary because of the devastating fire that swept through Niland 4 years ago. The new Niland Post Office will be at 218 E. 1st Street. USPS gave no specific date for the opening of the new facility but did say that Niland will continue to be served by the mobile unit that is on Luxor Avenue next to the Fire Station.
