(The City of Calexico has a Clean-up Project)....It began recently with the removal of a Homeless encampment in the City.

The City has received at $286,119 grant. The funds will go towards the clean-up project. The California Department of Transportation is awarding funds across the state for clean-up efforts. They announced Wednesday a total of $25 million was available. There are 90 being funded through the Clean California program. Calexico has several projects planned. Among them is graffiti, trash pick-up, make neighborhoods safer, etc.
