(Suspect officially charged)....24-year-old Isaac Elizondo was officially charged this week.

He had earlier entered a plea of not guilty to preliminary charges. This week Elizondo was officially charged with murder and unlawful harm or injury to a child. He entered another plea of Not Guilty. The charges surround the death of the 5-year-old son of his girlfriend. On January 8th a report of an unresponsive child was reported at Ocotillo Springs Apartments in Brawley. The investigation by Brawley Police determined the child was murdered, and they suspected Elizondo. He was arrested last Thursday. The suspects next court appearance will be March 12.
