The lawsuit was designed to stop the construction of a $10 billion Data Center. Imperial County and the Private Developer have filed an action asking the judge to dismiss the lawsuit. The filing argues the project is already permitted and that the city failed to appeal an earlier decision, making that approval final. A hearing on the motion was set for February 10th.
