The Brawley City Council met earlier this week.

Among the action taken by the council was a Proclamation presented to William Krug in recognition of his Eagle Scout project and his contributions to graffiti abatement and beautification efforts throughout the city. Krug organized and led two major volunteer workdays to cleaning and painting over graffiti at multiple locations in the city.

The council also presented a Certificate of Recognition to Brawley Elks Lodge 1420 in celebration of its buildings 100th anniversary as a community landmark.
