(Brawley names an interim Police Chief)....The current Brawley Police Chief is retiring.

Chief Jimmy Duran has announced his final day on the job is December 31st. Beginning January 1st Assistant Chief Jonathon Blackstone will start serving as the Interim Police Chief. The city says naming the interim chief this week ensure continuity and operational stability within the department, while providing an opportunity to further evaluate long-term leadership needs.
