(The County Board of Supervisors agreed to fire Rodolfo Aguayo as Human Services Director earlier this year)...Aguayo filed litigation to stop the firing.

In his litigation, Aguayo said the board action violated the county's own ordinance. The county has filed several legal briefs opposing Aguayo's legal action. In one of the briefs, the county says the ordinance Aguayo mentioned in his litigation was an old ordinance. They said the ordinance had been amended several times since 1999. In the current ordinance, the county has every right to implement the action they did.
