(El Centro Police have released video of an officer involved shooting)....The shooting happened October 5th.

ECPD says three investigations are underway, and no conclusions are being released at this time. The body-cam video shows the El Centro police response to the incident. The Department was investigating a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly found in the parking lot of a business behind the 7/11 at Dogwood and Main Streets. Police units blocked the exit to the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle appears to attempt to leave the parking lot. An officer fires shots into the vehicle, striking the driver. He suffered fatal injuries. He was identified as being a teen-aged resident of Brawley. Two passengers in the vehicle were placed under arrest.
