The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.
The board approved a proclamation of a Local Emergency and adopted a resolution confirming the emergency due to the Sweet Potato Whitefly. The proclamation will allow for faster response and access to resources to protect Imperial County agriculture.
The board approved a three-year renewal agreement between Imperial Valley Medical Clinic, Inc and Imperial County Behavioral Health Services. The $7,500,000.00 agreement ensures continued access to essential behavioral health services and strengthens the county's capacity to address community health needs.
The board approved a $5,000 Gold Sponsorship to New Creations for their Annual Dinner Banquet. The funds support expenses for remodeling their new women's facility.
