(Early bird registration ended Thursday)...The Calexico Department of Recreation was taking early registration applications.

It was for the Calexico Christmas Parade in December. The Recreation Department was closed Friday for the City's Halloween Carnival. Those wanting to participate in the parade can still register. The deadline to submit an application is November 24th. Applications are available at the Recreation Department website, or at At the Recreation Department on Dool Avenue. The Parade is scheduled for 10 am December 13th. The theme this year is Christmas Joy Around the Year.
