(The 13th Annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Celebration)... The 13th annual Imperial Valley event will be held November 14th.

The Awards are hosted by the Imperial Valley Community Foundation. The event will be held at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The celebration is to show appreciation to the people, businesses, and organizations that dedicate themselves to helping others and improving the quality of life in Imperial Valley. This year's class of honorees are Dr. Victor Jaime with the Lifetime Achievement Award. John and Marie Anderson Philanthropists of the Year, Verna Wow-Wright Spirit of Philanthropy (Volunteer of the year). BHE Renewables the Philanthropic Corporation of the Year, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Imperial Valley Special Nonprofit Achievement. The Keynote Speaker will be Caitlan Chavez, owner/nonprofit consultant with Chavez TLC.
