The Brawley City Council meets Tuesday.

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. with closed session for a conference with legal counsel concerning significant exposure to litigation in three cases. No specifics were given. 

During open session the council will consider action to approve the Elks request for a road closure and waiver of fees to host the Cattle Call Bar-B-Que. Another item is possible action to approve St. Margret Mary Catholic Church's request for a road closure and waiver of fees to facilitate their annual Feast Day celebration. 

The council will also look at action to approve the introduction and first reading of an ordinance that would adopt a system to register vacant properties and amending maintenance standards for those properties.

The meeting will be held in Council chambers on Main Street.
