(William Frank Rodriguez was arrested this week)....The Palm Springs Chief Executive Officer is suspected of a crime committed last year.

The Palm Springs Desert Sun says Rodriguez is suspected of being involved in a Hit and Run in which a 60-year-old woman from Cathedral City suffered fatal injuries. The incident occurred in October 2024Rodriguez was arraigned Wednesday on charges of Murder,, Hit and Run Resulting in Great Bodily Injury, and Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended or Revoked Driver's License. Bail for the 43-year-old was set at $2 million. Rodriguez posted bail and was released from jail. His next court appearance was set for October 24th.
