The Brawley Police Department has issued a Public Safety Alert.

There have been reports of individuals going door-to-door falsely claiming that the cit's water supply is contaminated. These are not city employees. The city water supply is not contaminated. According to police, some residents have reported being used personal questions about their living situation. The City of Brawley reminded residents that city employees always have official identification. Do not share personal information with anyone you do not know or cannot verify. Report any suspicious activity to police.
