(New El Centro Police Building is almost ready to open)...Officials say they are on schedule to finish construction this month.

The $49.6 million facility is reportedly 90% complete. Construction on the new facility is being paid for through Measure P funds. Streets around the facility will be repaved before the facility is opened. Entrance to the new facility will be from Main Street. The new Pollice Headquarters is expected to open in December.
