(Person stabbed in Calexico)...It happened over the weekend, in the downtown area of Calexico.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital out of the county for treatment. The victim's condition is not known. A rapid investigation by Calexico Police resulted in the arrest of one suspect within hours of the incident. The second suspect was tracked down and arrested this week. Both suspects were booked into County Jail, charged with attempted murder. Calexico Police credit inter-agency collaboration in the swift closure of the case.
