The Brawley City Council will hold Special Meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting agenda includes potential action to approve a grant from the Southwest Border Regional Commission to provide for water and sewer infrastructure. expansion for housing and economic development projects. The grant will fund 80 percent of total project costs, up to $841,000, with a required 20 percent local match of $210,000. The city portion will come from the City's Water and Wastewater Enterprise Funds.
The meeting will also include a General Governance Training session along with Goal Setting for the Council.
The meeting starts at 4:00 p.m. at the City of Brawley Teen Center on Magnolia Street.
