The American Red Cross has opened an emergency shelter in Heber.
The shelter opened Friday afternoon to assist Valley residents affected by flooding and displacement from Tuesday's storm. The shelter is at Dogwood Elementary School in Heber and will provide a safe and dry place to stay, as ell as meals, water, and essential support services for individuals and families. Those coming to the shelter should bring personal identification, medications and medical supplies, important documents, hygiene items, chargers and necessary electronics, and any special items for infants, children or elderly family members.
