El Centro Police recovered a stolen high performance SUV.

On Wednesday night, graveyard shift patrol officers located a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV driving around the city. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted and the driver was detained. It was determined that the SUV had been reported stolen in Riverside County. The driver was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail.
