The regular meeting of the El Centro City Council is Tuesday.

The council will meet in closed session starting at 3:30 p.m. Closed session agenda items include an item dealing with possible litigation by the City and another item titled Public Employment - City Manager. 

The Council reconvenes in open session at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at El Centro City Hall. Council members will receive an update on the transfer of El Cento Regional Medical Center to the Imperial Valley Healthcare District. Consent Agenda items include consideration of a resolution rescinding an earlier resolution and Memorandum of Understanding between the City and Caltrans related to future improvements on State Route 86.

The council will also recognize the retirement of Gabriel Hernandez, a Building Maintenance Mechanic and Luis Sanchez, an Equipment Operator.
