The Imperial County Public Health Department will relocate its Environmental Health Division.

Beginning on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Environmental health Division will be located at 1221 W. State Street, Suite B, in El Centro. The new location will have enhanced workspaces for staff, updated infrastructure, and more convenient access for the public. According to Jeff Lamoure, Deputy Director of Environmental Health, " The move represents a significant milestone for our division. Our new space will help us better meet the growing needs of the community while continuing to uphold the highest standards in environmental health and safety". The department will remain in their current location, 797 Main Street in El Centro through Friday, August 15.
