(Backpack give a way scheduled) ....There will be two events in Calipatria.

State Senator Steve Padilla is hosting one event on August 12, from 12 to 2 pm at 105 North Park Avenue in Calipat. There will be backpacks and school supplies given away and a Legislative Resource Fair. Students must be present to pick up a backpack and supplies. Another Backpack distribution event will be held on August 16. That event will feature Backpacks, school supplies and Haircuts. It will be held 8 am to 1 pm at 136 North Sorenson Avenue in Calipat.. It is free to all Calipatria Unified School District kids.
